How very nice and sentimental, TUFC is a professional football club not a charity, if we want our club to have a genuine stab at promotion next season, and sentimental trip down memory lane is not what's required, what is, is a fit for purpose left/right back, we have neither at the moment, bringing back tugboat won't help our cause.

Have I missed something Dave? Who suggested bringing him back?

I think we should bring him back as manager. Him and Manse (who, in fairness, I think would actually make quite a good manager).

Don't disagree with your sentiment cambgull, but we've had our fingers burnt in the past giving ex-players the managers job, I, personally think, and I'm not alone, that the club is getting it's fingers burnt in having a former club legend as it's current manager, after all look at CH's record in the league played 67 won 23, drawn 15, lost 30, and 50 % of our fan base appear quite happy with all things TUFC under his management (only because it's CH). So to employ another club legend to me would be yet another mistake.

About Nicho, very much so. Manse I wouldn't want back, but I actually think he'd be a decent lower league manager one day.

Don't often disagree with your postings but that's a rather uncharitable post about a good club player who gave great service to TUFC. This is very much 'ifs and buts' and adding two and two and making five, but Truro are in the Conference league-below-South play offs. IF they should come up to the Conference South, I could see Nico doing a good job down there for Steve Tully.
