Torquay United v FC Halifax
Looking at the number of attempts on goal compared with those on target, we are absolutely woeful - how difficult is it to make the opposition keeper earn his money? How many keepers in this league are going to hold everything shot at them? You never know, if you aim at the keeper your bad shots might then go in the corner!
Full of anticipation for this one, hoping for a bigger crowd than last Tuesday. Have to believe we will win. Looking for Raachi to link the team together and hoping Blissett is back.

That's definitely correct Scott, except that it wasn't an attempt; it actually really was funny, sardonic, sarcastic, ironic humour, though obviously it was not understood or appreciated by a number of knob-heads (only joking) out there..Scott Brehaut wrote:Of course, you may have all missed HIS attempt at humour too....

Starting line up: Moore, Berry, MacDonald, Smith, Butler, Verma, Rees, Racchi, Richards, Harrad, Wright.
Subs: Allen, Ajala, Chaney, Gerring, Fisher.
This answers the question about Blisset then, not fit, even for the bench.

Looking like the usual story - hatful of chances but with no cutting edge

Well I'd say we've had the best of the first half but we are really missing Blissett.
Added in 12 minutes 55 seconds:
1664 in attendance with 40 odd from Halifax. Not a bad turnout.

Wright off, Allen on.
Added in 13 minutes 53 seconds:
Nothing has happened in this half.
Added in 6 minutes :
Reece off, Chaney on.
Added in 11 minutes 45 seconds:
"Iffy has made literally no impression since coming on". Not exactly a ringing endorsement.
Added in 2 minutes 43 seconds:
Oh god a last minute chance for us is cleared off the line. If we'd played like we have in the last 5 minutes for the other 85 we would have won this. 0-0 full time.

Seemed to be quite a dull game with very few chances, pretty similar to the last few actually. We appear to not have much up front without Blissett or Allen/Ajala on form.
Another unbeaten and another clean sheet, so hard to be too critical. A win on Saturday would be lovely though, to keep the points total rising. After Southport I think we have a few of the tougher sides, so points on the board are massive.

Just got home and how frustrating was that!
We worked hard but our chances appeared to have been limited to the start and end of the match. Is it just a coincidence that the absence of Blissett has led to the goals drying up?
The subs didn't make much of an impact for once and without a blinding save from Brendan Moore we might have ended with nothing for a lot of endeavour.
So, are we now going for some sort of record to follow four straight wins with three goalless draws? There are lots of positives to take forward so let's hope that we can turn the screw on Saturday and do the double over Southport.

Bloody frustrating! It was just like Aldershot, no bugger can put the ball in the net! Missing Bliss considerably. Not sure why Wright was taken off, he should have been left on with Iffy and Ajala, but Toby was dreadful. Richards had a glorious chance at the very end, Halifax were no threat whatsoever, a shocking side. The fans did their bit, that is for sure.
Yes we go forward and yes it was another point with a step closer to safety, but we have to say that we must win on Saturday.

Agreed, frustrating, glass half full, half empty feeling springs to mind, yes another point and defeat avoided, but overall the performance was dire from a TUFC point of view, never really looked liked winning this game.
Bang awful match, played between two on the night, bang awful football teams. Individually Angus had a good game, the keeper Moore looks solid, got the raise the bar for Saturday however.
