Seems like Ref Alison is up to his usual crap style of play
Yeah, commentators on radio Devon mentioned the ref!!
sounds like a fairly even 1st half - bar the goal, had a few crosses which have wasted
Dover with the ball in the TQ net but its offside

Radio Devon commo working fine
Nothing even in this, should be 3 down, intensity in our play missing, can't seem to get the passing game from Tuesday going, here's hoping for better second half.

Plenty of work still to do then.
Following on from my H/T post, the only real improvement in the second half was, yes the team did at least try and get the ball down and pass it, tempo far, far to slow however, overall today not good enough, Dover maybe be top, they were a good side and up there on merit however, that doesn't mean you get beat because your teams bottom and that's what happens.
Tuesday night first to everything. Today, movement off the ball non-existent, second to everything, slow, you have to earn the right, it doesn't matter the positions of the two respective teams, don't stand there and except it, battle, fight for it, make the opposition work for it.
The second goal today was pathetic, think it was about 4 passes up the field, they strolled through, in reality Dover hit our post and crossbar, had a goal disallowed, that looked a tight decision.
Enough is enough, we can escape this, but, the team have to do a lot, lot better than that.

That was as bad today as it was good on tuesday. A gutless, passionless, very poor performance
As Forever said second to the ball no tempo, all too easy for Dover, we dont attack the ball from set pieces
like we mean it or really want it, remember Jim McNichol ?
I think Myrie Williams should be sent back tomorrow, not interested

Beaten by a physically stronger and well organised team. We had little time on the ball to develop any play and also seamed to lack Ideas of how to break them down.
A disappointing result but there are still signs of improvement, maybe two steps forward on Tuesday and one back today.
Can see why Dover are near the top being a hard working well organised team.

Not sure about two steps forward one step back - it just appears all the other teams are one step ahead!DWB wrote: 07 Oct 2017, 16:53 Beaten by a physically stronger and well organised team. We had little time on the ball to develop any play and also seamed to lack Ideas of how to break them down.
