Good result from Owers' men. Lets not get ahead of ourselves, still a very long way to go but its another important 3 points. Woking will be gutted losing their home match in the last minute, so lets keep the momentum and see what happens monday. A good crowd monday will be a huge help! Not over yet. COYY

The big issue is will the pitch be playable. A lot of rain forecast.
Maidenhead game abandoned at half time today.

With the forecast for Monday I can't even see Woking leaving Surrey.

Get some covers from somewhere and at least cover the worst areas, plenty of us will come along with a fork for forks sake if they need volunteers, or perhaps put the match back to Tuesday or Wednesday

Great shout, Iā€™m sure they will be enough people willing to help out, just upto the club to actually speak to the supporters and ask!!

Just got home from a productive day in terms of torquay united. The 3 up front or the 2 and the number 9 as they call it these days really paid off. Chester were bloody awful which helped us look better but we deserved to win. Periods of game we look " good ' and encouraging attacking football in periods. Williams was quiet but had little bit of play where he had nice touches. Romain worked very hard and thoroughly deserved his goal. The 1st goal scorer who name has just lost me did well but if I'm honest didn't notice to much else. This is not negative but they all did quite well. Davis had a outstanding moment just before the 2nd goal and how the goalie saves it is beyond me.
Overall good !!! Surely from that we can go into Monday and get a win

Torquay 7 out of 10

Chester 0 out of 10 2nd half I thought they were having a contest of who can kick the ball the highest

Also dorel had a solid game. Caught everything

Think 7 out of 10 is fair. 2 excellent goals

Man of match romain. Works very hard , not just works hard but has a positive thought of play. Would love to keep him

Great support also. Great to see SNW and the others.

Thought owers could have come over and gave us a wave at the end. Bit poor

Witnessed my first win of the season. If we are going down at least the players are fighting, absolutely dominated this game. I'm still not sure if it was Chester who where woeful made us look good or we where the Brazil of the West Country. Seriously though Chester are down, the home atmosphere was like being at a funeral. Credit though, the attendance of 1800 will be more than most in this league.
Romain was a warhorse he unlike Reid has a quality to his final product. Dorel had a quiet day, but his handling and reading of the game is superb.
We should have won this 5-0, but job done today.
Great turnout from the yellow army, but I sense most feel this victory today isn't enough to survive. Woking and barrow are the teams we can only realistically catch now, which makes Woking at home on Monday a must must win.
Nice to meet Michael of the TUST and SNW and his wife.
