Smaller back of shirt deal also being finalised with outdoor sports clothing company Lazy Jacks-not sure that will look too good!
Should be fine as long as they don't put Lazy Jacks' :~D
Collar-gate intruiges me. I love the collar on the photo as it has replaced the old style one which i hated but it is therefore not the same shirt that was put into the vote. The shirt put into the vote was the one with the old style collar so what right do the club have to change it? They may as well thin the stripes and put holograms of seagulls on the arms whilst we're at it if they want to play at THAT game. Ok so it's a minor gripe in the grand scheme of things but it's the principle of it. The shirt now pictured on the O/S IS NOT the one that people voted for. The club cannot even get a simple vote right without cocking it up and i LOVE the new collar! Get the collar changed back again before manufacture occurs and do things right and fair TUFC!!

i would be more than happy, in fact i would be ecstatic if they totally thinned out the white stripes completely and made it all yellow with a bit of blue like it always should be.

Looked bloody awful when it was "modelled" at half time!
Could hardly make out any yellow on it at all.

Agreed Jerry, the yellow stripe is far to light and just merges in with with the white, it looked like a white shirt that had gone in the wash with something yellow and the colour had run, got to make that yellow stripe a lot darker.

ah yes. now back to more important matters like the new home shirt.
indeed, when the said shirt was modelled at half time, many persons where i was stood on the pop voiced their displeasure with the design, in the flesh as it were.
indeed the yellow is too pale. the word magnolia was mentioned a couple of times (said it before)and phrases such as "looks like the colour of runny custard" and "bloody awful". =D
they have tweaked it, and it does look a bit different from the winning design G. notably the collar.
it may be a grower, but i doubt it. all i can say for now about it is "oh dear".

I just hoped that all the people that voted for the shirt actually go out and buy it and it results in more revenue for the club than they normally get from shirt sales. Somehow, I doubt it.
I won't be buying it. But I really hope those that voted for it do so!

As soon as I wrote that I knew SNW would come sniffing around to call my comments names again!
Did they just show off the shirt today or was the whole kit there? What are the shorts and socks like?

Just the shirt 'modelled' by a 50/50 seller.

does anybody know what the shorts and socks will be? has it been decided yet?
what combo would supporters like to see. surely no more white.
yellow socks, blue shorts for me. the last time we had the stripes it was blue for both which wasnt great.
if it isnt too late to tweak the shirt before loads are produced then making the yellow stripes darker and adding blue shorts and yellow socks to complete the kit might look alright, i may even be able to accept it. maybe!
