A late, late winner (6th minute of injury time) for Oxford against Barnet as well! A reasonable set of results all in all (Wimbledon apart) and a totally unexpected point for us after an extremely poor first half.

Now we need to add a couple of players, and have a right go at out of form (and out of the play offs?) Southend on Saturday. Pleased for the likes of Cruise and Macklin who it seems did well ... time to give BOTH of them a start now.

dodgy aerial/sky dish mate? :}[/quote]

No pal, just a bit of a joke with Forever Dave about jumping off my roof but, owing to it being a bungalow, I'd only bust my ankle. Suicide is painless, it brings on many changes (MASH!.

someone might have said it before me...but It sounds like JL is different class...seems like a very good signing. A goal today and a great performance from what I hear as well. He was MoM againt Oxford as well. Could not have asked for more in the game today having in mind the sending off in the 5th minute. Great second half and very positive spirit from the lads. COYY!!! We need to stay up!!

Is Labadie available for the play offs or does his loan expire?

I'd like to think I know Scott well enough to say he was joking with this post. Digging at the official site's positivity spins to their news. Then again I may be wrong he could be dreaming. Well done lads well needed point tonight.

Quite astonishing game and commentary really. Absolutely exhausted after listening to that. We really shot ourselves in the foot though, letting their player clean through after four minutes. Sounded like we were our usual dire selves in the first half. The opposition are average at best and we could well have won that game with eleven men which is galling.
Still its a point gained I appreciate that.
Knill needs a couple of decent signings by the time the two home games come around next week. Those will be the key games. Win them and we will more than likely stay up. We need a right winger and possibly another striker.
Games are running out and we are still a long long way from 50 points.

Great fight back from the lads. Well done everyone. As others have said perhaps this IS a turning point. Certainly Stanley look as if they're hitting the buffers at the wrong time. Which means we may only have to worry about Argyle, Barnet and York.

BTW - what did Downes do to get such an early red card?

I think it should actually be the fans that we should be praising tonight and not just the players, many whom will be on the road for another few hours at least. Lord only know what must have been going through their minds when Downes got sent off and they scored the pen, especially the ones who go to most away games. Full credit tonight for their support and dedication and i'd like to think the players got some sort of a lift from them. WELL DONE THE YELLOW ARMY!!!

Brilliant comeback tonight, defying the odds with 10 men for 85 minutes. Yet again, a few negative nellies couldn't wait to jump on the misery bus early on I see, really your lives must be horrible, bell-ends!! :~D Still a hell of a lot of hard work to be done, but this shows there is some fight and some quality. Let's hope for another signing or two and for Southend's wobble to continue on Saturday. I should be there.

Great result with 10 men. A result like that in such circumstances and a last minute equaliser is the sort of thing that maybe will instill a bit of fight into the players for subsquent games. Let's hope they can keep the momentum going. Well done, Torquay!

Chuffed to bits with that second half, had everything we need in order to stay up!!

We looked a bit shell shocked after Downsey had gone and i think everyone had thought that it'd be us dead and buried when the pen was stuck away. Rest of the first half was average at best, pokey pulling off a couple of decent saves but apart from that i thought they were no better than us even though they had the extra man!!

Second half began and looked to be heading the same way but boy what a contrast!! We had that fight/desire we've been missing for weeks!! Everyone battling for eachother and some great passages of play. Howe looked interested again and didnt stop chasing and harrying the whole second half, no one gave up!!

There second goal was against the run of play and undeserved but we fought on and got our just deserts, we were unlucky not to take all 3 points to be honest!!

Ladabie looks decent in the middle, definitely what we've been missing!!

More of the same saturday please boys!!
