Does anyone know whether the shirt is going to have a collar or not? I think most people voted for that design because old retro style with the collar (so did I), and now they show us a one with no collar..and the whole idea of this project was for the fans to choose. Disappointed if there is no collar.

Apparently the players had a say in the final design and the result is no collar.

I see Portsmouth are Sondico now as well. That is probably the final humiliation for a once Premiership club.

Could be worse, could be made by errea. Their shirts are bloody awful.
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

how come they got asked what they thought of the shirt when clearly most of them are not going to be here to wear the thing? :|

the whole point of the exercise was that the fans choose, despite whether it was a right or wrong choice and after all the debate and deliberation the design that was voted for and chosen has been altered a lot and not for the better. :@

do we yet know if the yellow stripes are going to be made darker and what colours are the shorts and socks going to be?

personally if there is anymore white in the full kit i will scream, those awful white socks this season were bad enough but if they are used with that bloody shirt as well it could be too much of a bad taste overload. :Z

I see the new England away shirt has a collar. I wonder if Rooney, Gerrard et al will complain like our players?!

just seen it, i would have liked our new home kit to be that sort of style in all yellow with a blue collar and cuffs. its quite smart. only criticism is it looks too much like just a polo shirt or a leisure top.

dont understand why our players got a say about the shirt, it was a fan vote and most of the players arent going to be here to wear it. :|

Smif, I'm a bit confused.

You wrote 500 words complaining about Sondico, telling us all how awful their kits are etc. You then ended by telling us just how good Port Vale's kit was last year and that it was made by Sondico.

Is my sarcasm detector on the blink?

Matt.

Think a lot of people feel like that. I voted for the kit that won due to the collar and the fact it was a tribute to one of my all time favourite tufc kits. I was definitely going to buy it when it won. Having seen the final desgin its lost all that appeal and I'm 50/50 as to whether I will buy it.

Is the new shirt likely to be available for pre-order or will it be a free for all at the club shop when it goes on sale does anybody know?

I don't know but I can't see both of the people who want one turning up at the same time. ;-)

with regards to the new home shirt-

apparently we havent heard anything for a while because someone at the club has finally seen sense and destroyed all evidence of the design or the shirt ever existing. all designs, prototypes, copies and replicas have been burnt and the ashes were placed in a 5 inch thick lead box, filled with concrete, taken 20,000 leagues beneath the sea and buried 50 feet below the sea bed.

stand by for an all yellow shirt with blue trim.

Did I dream the fact that we the fans actually chose the new shirt design?
I cannot believe the amount of whining I'm reading here!
