According to the radio commentator we are playing slough, if he has said it once he has said it half a dozen times.

Manager of the Month with 7 points from 12
Watched St Albans v Havant on Wednesday night . St Albans were lucky to win against a team who have had one win in 18 games. They had a few injured players themselves today.
That said its a good win which we really needed today - there are a few part time teams feeling the pressure of playing 3 games in 7 days today.
Its a very poor league and there is no excuse for us being anywhere other than around the top of it.

Why is it a very poor league ?
Like last year was a very poor National League?
Having seen Worthing and Chippenham I'd say those teams were better than what we faced 5 seasons ago.
Excellent 3 points , I've no idea if it was a comfortable win or a ground out slog but I'm not fussed either way.

I listened on TUFC radio. It sounded like we created a good few chances and got a good result.
Even more pleasing as we were missing a few.
Very happy to get three points - onwards and upwards.

Poor game not many prospects for a top of the table challenge. We were dire in the second half.

An advert for football that was not.
Two very poor sides who didn’t create much and wasted the few opportunities that did arise. Poor DeSilva got everything to his head in the second half after getting lots of space in the ground in the first - seemed a bit mad to me.
The goal was fortuitous - seemed to be a mix up between the keeper and centre back as they were at each other after the goal.
Worrying that a couple of the better performers hobbled off again. Presume we won’t see Lapslie until September but hope I’m wrong.
Got the 3 points which is the main thing but it felt like that performance against a half decent side would have been a different story.
