Colin Lee did all the work on that one IIRC but I was pointing it out rather than disagreeing with you as the added edit shows. Hit send before I'd finished..............

Would have made sense with both him and Rayner as they'd both done well on loan previously, pretty sure Colin Lee was involved towards the back end of that season with Keith Curle so would have had that knowledge. My mind plays tricks with seasons though.

to name a few. The list could go on..
Mikkel Andersen is a top keeper. He was at our place for 2 years and was arguably the best keeper in League 1. I am not sure when he was on loan at your place?? but he was probably only about 17/18 at the time.
He is highly rated at Reading, and will be a fantastic keeper.
Danny Senda is decent to. He did well at our place towards the end of last season in a higher division, and plenty of Gasheads wanted him to sign permanantly.
Its funny how peoples views on players change from club to club.

Oooooooh, Monsieur B, I wish I still had the pm you sent me where you called him the worst swear word o:)
Really, when you see how successful Buckle has been here, he should have some sort of idol status. I think it speaks volumes that few fans honestly warmed to him. Maybe when doing his coaching badges, he should have done some P.R. courses too. Personally never liked the person that he came across as; too many occasions where he blamed the fans for poor performances (during our poor run, we didn't sing loud enough. Nothing to do with his shite tactics then), then there was those crass comments when Sills and Greavsie left. The bloke's persona is completely lacking in humility and gratitude, and I'm still not convinced he has the technical know how to be the manager he thinks he can be.
(Will eat copious amounts of humble pie if he does.....)

I have to say I felt very sorry about the timing when I heard Houllier had stepped down as Villa boss, if PB hadn't left for Rovers he would have been a certainty for that job given all he has achieved in the game. Still, there will be time for the messiah to make his mark in the top level once Rovers are riding the crest of the wave under his stewardship.
