I will put a wager on with you if you like? That we will be at least 2 divisions above Torquay in that time
.

Maybe everybody associated with Torquay should show a bit of ambition and fight, and stop mocking other people who do have ambition and can see their club being succesful.

Maybe then managers and players would'nt leave you for a "joke" club in the same division.

I'LL TAKE THAT WAGER !!!! what odds are you offering?

After 128 years, this is where you've reached. Your level. Why you think years 129-134 are going to be an improvement I don't know.
No we have reached our lowest ebb.

Our natural level is the middle 2 tiers.

3 years ago you were in The Conference, was that you reaching your level?

Um. Yes, it was. Because we got relegated from League 2. Just as we are at our level now.

Why is this so hard to understand?

Well surely the same applies to Bristol Rovers then? Or is it one rule for one, and one for the other.

Yep and had you have finished in the same position ie 2nd from bottom 1yr later than you did you would have also been in the Conference, question is would you have come back in two seasons? with a much bigger team just down the road?

The fact is we didn't though. Hindsight is a lovely thing.

It was Torquay's lowest ebb, not your normal level. Torquay had never been that low before.

And what is it with this much bigger team down the road thing? They have had a wealthy benefactor bailing them out for a decade, while we havn't. That is all going to change tomorrow and we will have more money than them, and by the looks of it a bigger stadium. We will see where both clubs are in the near future.

Go for it British Gas. There's nothing wrong in showing a little ambition even if it's never gunna happen. I mean you lot just think you're as good as Bristol City with your amazing potential for crowds & new stadium plans etc. But the simple fact is the only team that will ever be above League One will be them, because quite frankly as soon as you hit the heights of the 3rd tier you crumble like a flakey poo in water. -34 GD last season, superb effort.

You may even go up this season with Captain Buckle in charge, but you must admit deep down you won't ever take League One by storm....what's it go like again? 'not being harsh, I do genuinely mean this, I'm not having a go, I'm not here taking the pee' I do hope your achieve your championship dream & I wish you all the very best of luck. Much love.

Thats a great idea, I have no problem with that.

Name whatever price you see fit, and we will have a gentlemans agreement.

Again you bang on about last season, yes it was a shambles, and so has the last 10 years.

But before that we were on a par with Bristol C*ty, Even when we were at Twerton Park we were eclipsing them, finishing above them to win Championships, smashing them by 3,s and 4's.

So Boom Boom, Are you going to take me up on that wager? You name the price and if you want a charity of your choice.
