If we'd kept Steve Woods with Mark Ellis - Ellis would now have been sold on to a bigger club.

Mark my words, Taylor will coach Ellis into being a much better defender (think he would help Robbo too if he stays) and they'll be knocking on our door again.

Like others have said we still need a good playmaker and a goal scorer...
are you sure ?? i guess one can get confused between bristol and bradford

And i get the feeling the reason Ellis was evidently so outspoken is because Buckle didn't rate him highly enough to pick him regularly. That was obviously the cause of some annoyance to Mark.
Last season while i was working with a club in the championship (many know who that was). They did send club scouts out to watch Mr Ellis as he was caught the eye of many clubs. Funnily enough i would get paid to come down to plainmoor to watch Torquay play to keep an eye on Ellis. I even got paid to go to shewsbury away to watch Bradshaw and Ellis.

Mark has the talent and should play more and we will get the best out of him. He spends his time on the bench and starts to play, your asking a lot for him to be on top form straight out.

Im a big fan of Ellis and he needs to play. He has the talent we talk about, whoch shows if championship clubs are watching him.

As i've said previously, he has all the attributes to be an excellent defender. And any club furnished with a defensive coach could take him on his potential, iron out the flaws in his game and benefit from him for years to come. Until now though, we haven't had a dedicated defensive coach and it's been evident in Ellis because he still makes the same mistakes he was making 3 years ago - and they are mistakes that would prove costly over the course of the season. Hopefully Tayloir can bring him on because all the building blocks are there.
