If you dislike it so much Bradders, why do you keep doing it?

Matt.

Paul, you can feck right off. Firstly, my car is proper cool, secondly, DG herself works for the NHS (perhaps you're both losers?)

Proper cool for a kid who can't afford a real car and has to drive around in a Ford Focus for fun.

There is nothing wrong with working for the NHS, if people knew how to use the service properly.

Ignoring a certain SG, yes there is.

Basically the general public need to be told how much things cost. For example to go and see a GP about a cold costs the NHS £75.
For someone to go into A&E with a splinter costs the NHS £175.

It all soon adds up.

For those who say they pay taxes therefore can see the GP when ever they want........ good luck with that. Give it another 15 years and there will be NHS. For the NHS to save any money they have gone down the LIFT and PFI route, therefore in a few years the NHS will not have any capital investment of it's own. Once that happend the government can sell off the NHS to the private sector.

In which case you seeing a doctor will cost you an insurance premium at a much higher rate than the NHS contribution of your tax.

Therefore if people use the NHS properly more, they can save money else where and not have to sell off their land and end up like the US.

Pen-pushers cost the NHS far more than any number of idiots going to A&E with a splinter.........................
