Ink has hit paper this morning, let's get the party started.

On 30 June 2014, he'll be 23 still (for another 10 days), so he's under contract for another 3 years and then we'd still be able to get compensation if he left on a free. If he stayed with us all that time it'd be terrific, but it means that if he does leave before, as is probably likely, we'll be in a position to make sure we get a decent fee, and he gets a good move.

Good to see the club trying to tie up new deals early. However, i hope we don't tie everyone down to a deal and end up with an over-inflated squad that we can't add to as our budget is stretched so much. I just hope not everyone negotiating the deals goes all 'anti-buckle' and gets everyone on a 25 year deal.
