Afternoon all
Think we should win, but our record over Stanley hasn't been great over recent years. Think we'll win 3-1. Kee to score against his former club, Benyon and Wroe.
COME ON YOU YELLOWS!!

Gritts in for Benyon, Benyon not even on the bench today.

Injury, surely? Unless there has been some transfer activity we hadn't heard about.
So is it Gritton up front with Zebs then, or has Kee been called in?

Think that was the only change, not sure, only caught the last bit of the interview on GullsPlayer.

Hmmm, not too sure about the team.
Stevens was poor last week - he's always generally been weaker away from home but I thought he looked like he had been "found out" at this level. I would have gone with Kee up front (ex players always score against their former clubs!) and put Zebs out wide.
Thats said, I'm not a football manager and hopefully my lack of knowledge would be shown up with a thumping gulls win! Looking through the Stanley side, I hate to tempt fate but we really look stronger all over the pitch. Stanley have always held something of a curse over us which worries me, and they are clearly organised and hard to break down this season.
If we perform we should take this. COYY!

Hmmm,, obviously something gone on even if it is just an injury, no doubt we will find out in due course. Difficult game this, aren't they all but I feel if we keep our nerve and catch them on the break we could come out worthy 1-0 winners Gritts first goal.
With Jeff re Billy Kee but perhaps PB has played football manager longer than I.
Does anyone have the commo btw?

Here we go

My bet for the game is a 2-0 win for the Gulls. Goals: Wroe (pen) and Carlisle.
Come on Torquay!!

He often is. He can be very frustrating to watch when he gives the ball away cheaply and makes suspect decisions.
I prefer to see him used as an impact substitute.
His performance today should either confirm his place in the starting line up or give someone else an opportunity to come in.

Their right back has an unfortunate name.
