Their expectations have been unreasonably high and it was 'Buckle out' from quite early in the season. It's going to be the same for any new manager at Rovers who doesn't provide instant miracles.
In my book, Martin Ling has already done miracles.
They're not having Dinger then !

Absolutely right! But if Martin Ling had taken Bristol Rovers through an eight-game September winless run, they would have been shouting 'Ling out' already!

I saw that Rovers fans have started a Buckle Out petition. As if that could possibly do any good.
So I've started this in response -
http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/buckle-in" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I'd like to post it on Rover's fans forums for a laugh, but I don't know where they are. little help?

Bristol Rovers 3-1 down and the first half isn't even over yet. Taxi for Mr. Buckle!

I'm starting to think that BritishGas may have been right all along. There really could be two divisions between us in five years time!

The Bristol Rovers forum is quite a hoot right now. It's fair to say that they're slightly annoyed..............

Just been on it and hilarious, some fans leaving at half time. I did think he may go in the new year but if he loses this badly then they have to get rid, still gives whoever comes in a chance to save them.

Rovers netted in response, also Bucks has done 3 changes at the break, even taking Bevs off...

I think the comments Bucks 'allegedly' made about Bristolians must have been true! He must REALLY hate them! He's got to be doing this on purpose surely to God? I could do a better job just by picking 11 players and saying 'look lads - go out there and win'! It's truly astounding what is happening at Rovers. The man is just a one man circus. He has to be gone after today even if they draw or win anyway surely?
