Quick ditty for the yellow army to sing today should we be getting annihilated. To the tune of THIS IS HOW IT FEELS by legends The Inspiral Carpets.

This is how it feels to be lonely, this is how it feels to be small
This is how it feels when you're 4 (or however many goals they have scored) nil down at Roots Hall!

Also see my unbelievably crap song effort for Joss on the yellow army section. We need to make the new boys feel welcome so i'm thinking of one for Chappell.

Anyway, 9/2 in places today and i've got no idea whatsoever why i'm doing this but i'm sticking £20 on a gulls win. I'll lose anyway whatever bets i have so f*ck it. I've got a feeling about today and it's not just the IBS kicking in. We're going to win!! COYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

It's absolutely chucking it down here in Kent and the forecast for south Essex doesn't look to promising! Is there a pitch inspection planned?

Andy

I love your posts - you call a spade a spade and wear your heart on your sleeve. Diplomacy is not your strong point but then neither is it mine.

Your pre- match report is as usual a gem

However I dont wish to start an argument but I have a bone to pick with you

My name is Tony and I support Torquay ( do you begin to see where I am coming from?)

There is no disclaimer in your report - i.e names and places have been changed to protect the identity blah bla blah

So some people - including my wife - may think that I pooh in my pants before I game which I dont - there have been many games following Torquay when I have been "sh1tt1ng" myself as we flirt with relegation/promotion over the years but so far I have refrained from soiling my pants.

I would be grateful if you could issue a disclaimer that Torquay Tony isnt me!!!!

Haha, no probs Tony.

NOTE: I can categorically state that the 'TORQUAY TONY' portrayed in my Southend match day thread is NOT Sky Blue Gull Tony and refers to another 'TORQUAY TONY' who is a fictional representative of the club. My sincere apologies to any Torquay fans called Tony who may have been offended by this oversight.

:na: :-D

Got an email today from Gulls Player with new iPhone app that boasts you can access all aspects of Gulls Player including live audio commentary. I can see highlights and old newscasts no problem, but there doesn't appear to be an audio commentary option. Can anyone assist? Did wonder if some function might appear around 3 pm, but doubt it.

Very interesting. It's 3 points in the bag this, i like the changes and i like the fact we have a decent bench too. I'm excited.

That's not the worst starting eleven with a reasonably strong bench. Lets just hope we can get something from it!

Nathan Craig in the whole SHOULD work a treat. But we don't even know if that is where he will be playing. Ling liked Bodin in there and Knill might as well. Hopefully he sees it like we do.
