Well if Neil Warnock is keen on a Director of Football role and their is the availability for Chris Hargreaves would this not be a perfect combo?

I can't see the merits of Hargreaves as our manager to be honest.

Maybe it's just me....

Would be a good ass. manager/coach, but I don't understand why anyone would suggest him for the manager's position, given that he has no managerial experience.

Pretty sure he's been gaining managerial experience as reserves manager at AFCB. Obviously it isn't the same level as League 2 but he is getting experience there.

After giving Ling a glowing reference, Mansell now backs Knill.

Personally hope we don't go for a complete novice. Everybody has to start somewhere, but I'd rather we weren't somebody's learning environment - even Greavsie.

Scotty loves the moniker of Juan.

AK (48) now receives the moniker of Tin Tin.

Refer to page 4 of the matchday programme v Bristol Rovers.

Here's hoping.

With a bit of luck, the groundwork has been done for contracts etc and the new manager (Knill) can put the offers on the table. I'm sure the players would gladly sort things before their summer break, so they can go off on their holibobs without the stress of not knowing where they will be playing next season.

I keep refreshing the club website, waiting for an announcement! Accrington is 83 miles from Sheffield; Torquay is 269 miles.
