Now I know it doesn't work like this as a Torquay fan, but, after today, the next time we play a league game, we will have quite a few games in hands over lots of teams, due to a full fixture list next Sat (FA Cup for us) nd a midweek game the following Tues (We don't have one). The next 4 fixtures are against 4 of the current bottom 5.

That makes today huge. A win, and we'll be right in the mix, we'll accumulate a few games in hand, and if we have any ambition of play offs or more, will take 10 from 12 out of the next 4 league game.

This is Torquay United we're talking about here, hoping for 4 wins, expecting 1 win, 1 draw and 2 loses!

Seems to have gone a bit quiet in the game, not listening to the commentary but it's usually an ominous sign when it goes quiet after we score. Are we still looking like scoring?

Half time, Bevan definitely man of the half.

Crowd sounds quieter than normal, hopefully it will pick up in the second half.

Just had a mate text me with a half time update. Apparantly Gillingham are by far the better side and Bevs is keeping us in it - so nothing we didn't know there.

The way he describes Benners' goal is that our old mate Alan Julian caught a routine ball, fumbled it and they couldn't find where it was, leaving Benners to slide it in. Goal of the Month methinks...........

Good timing for half time then by the sounds of it. Hopefully we can get a foot hold in the game again in the second half, we could really do with that second goal to make us a bit safer. Without it, I can see us doing what the England Cricket team used to do and collapse at the end!
