1-1. FT

Really pleased with that and it's now 7 points from 9. A super return and we now take on the Greeks. Another massive well done to Alan and the lads for today. Much appreciated. :-D

A game with a lot of effort but no quality

Ref was widely inconsistence, a rovers player slapped mozika in the face and it wasn't even a yellow

best chance for a winner came from Mozika (who had a great game) how he headed wide from a few yards out i dont know!

A win against Exeter is a must, we missed out on the opportunity to climb the table today!

Hope you are right, but we could be bottom again tonight if results go against us. :( :(

Relatively content with a point today. Mozika had an excellent chance to win it late on, but planted his close range header wide. In truth, a win would've flattered us, as Rovers played football round us in the first half after our goal, and passed better for much of the afternoon.

After awarding an early penalty for handball from our direct free kick, it was always likely the referee would favour Rovers thereafter. Harrold got away with so much bitty fouling, Poke was fouled in the build up to their equaliser, and O'Toole should've seen red for a deliberate hand to Mozika's face.

There's no denying we lack quality. Bodin was anonymous, bar treating us to his dreadful first touch periodically, and a curiously brilliant run in the latter stages. Chapell looks devoid of confidence. Mozika, bizarrely, played in an advanced position on the right until the hour mark, before faring so much better in the middle.

And then there's McCourt. Wow, he was useless. It was one misplaced pass after the other, and no presence in the central midfield. Then, he turned up on the right, and was suddenly central to our attacking endeavours and started whipping crosses in like Wayne Carlisle in his pomp. Start him on the right wing if at all, Knill!

The left side, particularly Cruise, needs sorting because it was a free path to our goal all too often. Play like we did from minute 5-45 today on Sunday, and we'll be resoundly beaten. Otherwise, I think we have a chance against City.

Frankly, amazed we didn't lose that. Kept on giving away possession time and time again. Couldn't string more than about two passes together at a time. The team just never gelled.

Good match summary, Chris B. I think that the trouble on the left side was that their full back was over-lapping and Bodin wasn't dropping back to challenge him, hence Tom Cruise had two players to contend with. Nicholson used to have the same problem - it's not the full backs at fault, it's the wingers failing to track back, especially Bodin.
