NOtice the 'all the above is subject to the kit delivery arriving on its agreed date' or something similar...really that translates as, although we are saying you can have the kit on the 28th July, you know and we know that it is more likely to be the 28th August.

Well if that is the case I may request a refund under principle. I ordered the shirt on the proviso that I would receive it as soon as possible after the 27th of July so therefore I reasonably expect it to be with me delivered within the week. If there is a problem with the suppliers then that is not my problem and they will have given me false information about the shirts availability. It may seem pedantic but if people promise things, especially in business then it is imperative that these promises are kept otherwise they shouldn't make them.

To be fair and apologise, the page does say that it is subject to the the shirts being delivered on time. I didn't read it fully and I am in the wrong and not the club. That said, I am pretty tired of the constant fiascos relating to shirts and their release for sale and should the kit not be with me by the week after the 27th I shall be cancelling anyway as it is unacceptable and the club should be putting pressure on the manufacturers.

Got an email from the club saying they are 'processing' my order and the money has been taken. Does this mean that the shirts have arrived then?

I got that email immediately after I ordered mine. Seeing as they are offering shirt printing (names and numbers) I am sure they are already in stock off them.

Good news. Would you be able to put a picture up? Is it the same as previously displayed?

I've tried hector but it won't let me do it. I'm probably doing something wrong though. It's the same as what Manse is wearing in that photo the only thing i'm slightly disappointed about is that all the sondico logos are not embroidered, simply blended in with the fabric of the shirt which I've never liked and also the sponsor is the same. I thought they would be different but apart from that it's excellent.

Got mine today! Would like to thank Julia in the club shop for all her work on getting these out on time. When I phoned Friday morning (to change my order and further complicate things for her!) she informed me the shipment was late and only arrived late afternoon the day before so to get these sorted out in possession to customers today is a remarkable effort on her's and her colleagues part. :)

Also, i'm a bit odd and I always wash any new item of clothing I buy straight away before I wear it and so my new shirt has just been through a quick spin cycle. What I have noticed about the shirt is that looking at it on the washing line from a distance it does actually look quite a vivid yellow and not the pale yellow you see when you look at it close up. Might be just my eyes but I definitely see this. Looks like TUFC kits of old!

congrats to those who have received their shirt, i know how badly many of you wanted this one. great that the club came through and people actually received their shirt when told they would.

hoepfully the shirt will grow on me, as said a few pages back it actually looks ok (yeah i know), its mainly the colours that irk me, in theory its not a bad idea. i just hope the shorts and socks combo as a whole kit goes with the shirt.

one last thing with regards the colour issue as you state above andy, here are a few quotes i made throughout the thread and a couple of others also -
as i said before a bit of distance does strange things, you can hardly pick out any yellow and the shirt appears to be a dodgy cream/magnolia colour.
i did think if everyone saw that video from 91 it would make them realise how garish the shirt was and it does not look that great.as i said cream/magnolia from a distance, you cant pick out the stripes.i suppose theres no helping some people.
from a distance you cant pick out the stripes and the shirt looks a strange cream/magnolia colour.
indeed, when the said shirt was modelled at half time, many persons where i was stood on the pop voiced their displeasure with the design, in the flesh as it were.
indeed the yellow is too pale. the word magnolia was mentioned a couple of times (said it before)and phrases such as "looks like the colour of runny custard" and "bloody awful".
the yellow is definitely too light. in the daylight yesterday it looked a lot different to that. you could barely make out the stripes.
at the game in the daylight you could hardly pick out the yellow stripes and the shirt seemed to take on a dodgy sort of magnolia, cream colour (which is what i said it would because of the past 2 incarnations ).
80% of why i dont like the shirt is because it is yellow and white stripes and not yellow with blue trim, 10% is because we have had almost identical twice already, 10% is because although its not hideous it just doesnt work (it ends up looking cream/magnolia).

Not sure we can call ourselves Yellow Army with this shirt. I thought, originally, it looked quite nice. I liked the collar but that seems to have been omitted from the final design. Also, as others have said, the yellow needs to be a lot deeper. It's too "washed out" Yesterday, from a distance, it looked white. Had no colour in it at all.

Primrose Army ?
to all those who have bought it or will buy it, enjoy the shirt guys and wear it with pride, always.
You are my torquay, my only torquay, you make me happy when skies are grey, you'll never know, just, how much i love you, so don't take my torquay away.
