I was seen at Plainmoor today, but it doesn't mean I'll be the next manager of TUFC.
Post of the day Troj. :engflag:

Talk about bad timing. If is is looking at his options, then couldn't this sort of thing wait a few weeks. We've worked all season to get to this critical stage after all.

As mentioned before, after the trust shown in him by the board over the last few years then Buckle does owe them some gratitude. Moving on is one thing, but to do it at this time would be unforgivable. This sort of thing is going to reach the dressing room, all of whom (bar one) were brought here by Buckle.

I know somebody within the club who also confirms he was at the mem yesterday. to be our next boss and the bookies very rarely get it wrong. I think it would be a good appointment if this is the case but i do agree the timing of the whole thing leaves a lot to be desired. Good luck for the playoffs
He is now clear favourite at 4/7 from 10/1 with victor chandler

Did not realise that Victor Chandler was also being considered & is attracting the same odds as PB, thought that Victor was more interested in betting than football management! Victor might like the job but PB deserves a larger club, eg. Sheff.Utd, Sheff W. Hull etc.

I accept Buckle might wanna leave but when I heard he was spotted in Bristol, I pressumed he must be there to speak with Bristol City or somebody, he'd be mad to go with Rovers!!! He's a great guy and should set his sights much higher!

Aye, four players were still contracted when PB became manager. Add Hilly and Thorpe to the names of Manse and Robbo.

Wasn't Robertson on loan in the relegation season and we signed him permanently in the summer? It doesn't really detract from the point though that this is going to be hugely unsettling for the players.
