I think Truro have a very tricky run in and could lose their next 3 consecutive away games.

Aveley have lost 27 of their 40 games but will still be fighting so a tough ask for United but our away wins at Chippenham, Tonbridge and Dorking will give us some confidence surely.

Can't see Truro doing that portugull, they were heading for their 5th straight away win until that late blip at Enfield.
Impossible to predict, we just have to try and win every game but 5 wins out of 6 wins it for us I think

If they lose just one I'd be delighted.
It would be big help if we could go into the game on Good Friday knowing a draw would keep us above them.
It would also be good is we could get a couple of bigger wins as goal differences are pretty close between most of the top teams.

Dorking are the winners today... Eastbourne and Truro the losers. Our games, whilst both wins, were ultimately what we should have both done.

Further down Maidstone kept hanging on the coat tails of the automatic race but Boreham Wood are on the canvas. I can see Weston squeezing them out of the play-offs completely... and it's the team with a late run into the play-offs that often has the crucial momentum.

We roll onto the next round, the drama continues.

3 wins in a row no goals conceded in 3. Unbeaten in 7
We keep this form up I think we will take the automatic spot.
Hopefully Truro draw or beat Worthing next week.
Feels like we are coming good at the right time. As long as we keep winning

I said to my mate a few weeks back that I think 90 points will win it. 4 wins and a draw and we’ve got a good chance.

Agreed if we can keep this run and going 4 wins and a draw at Truro from.the last 5 games. I think we would go up as champions! And that would cap an incredible year.

Here are the remaining fixtures and points to date.
I’ve also shown an estimated final total for each team based on slipping up once more and points being dropped in games between top teams.
I’ve then looked at where the number of points gained in our last four games would leave us.

Winning the league is still possible if we win our last four games but unlikely.

5th looks most likely, with a home play off (maybe against Boreham Wood). If we win that away to Worthing, Dorking or Eastbourne in the semi final and if we win that probably another away game in the final (or possibly home, maybe to Maidstone).

These are of course estimated results and it won’t turn out exactly like this but it shows that to finish 2nd or 3rd we may well now need to win all four games. Two defeats and we’d probably have to play 3 away play off games to go up.

Torquay

10 points Joint 3rd / 4th GD
7 - 9 points 5th

Another week another spin of the results randomiser. Who'd have predicted Dorking, us and yourself would drop 8 out of 9 points today, crazy!

Walking away from Woodside today I had the league down as Truro's. Unattractive to watch but very organised and ruthlessly efficient when presented with gifts (no seriously, look 'em up, should be watched with the Benny Hill theme tune playing 🤦🏻).

Seeing their run-in though has given me some hope. Hornchurch is a horrible venue/pitch and the other opponents are all going to be involved with up/down issues.

I liked the look of Dorking's run-in... until I twigged 'for Weymouth read Worthing'. Easter Monday is now a sell-out and rightly so, it's huge.

Before that though the biggest game by far is your trip to Cornwall. We'll see what next week's games bring but I'm guessing I'll be five parts Gull on Good Friday 👍🏻

Apologies, yes Dorking's third fixture should say Worthing away.

If we (Torquay United) win all four remaining games, that takes us to 89 points.
We would then require:-
> Eastbourne fail to win all 4. Maximum 10 more points = 88
> Dorking fail to win all 4. Maximum 10 more points = 88
> Truro fail to win the other 3. Maximum 7 points = 87
> Worthing to lose a game. Maximum 9 points = 89
Keep believing, exciting times.

We will have to play a lot better than we did on Saturday.

We have to be clinical in front of goal and not give away silly goals like we did on Saturday. Everything to play for. Impossible to predict but it is only right to try. COYY

That's an interesting summary.
Agrees with my analysis that if we win all four games we still have a chance of winning the league but that it's out of our hands.
