A very solid away performance. Well deserved and didn’t give Dorking a sniff all afternoon. Didn’t have too many chances ourselves but certainly edged it with hitting the post and other near misses.
First time visitor to Dorking, nice little non league ground, steps too shallow however in the away end so couldn’t see the alleged pint showering. Must follow up with 3 pts next week and that won’t be easy.

The pint throw did happen
Apparently a Swindon fan, hopefully identified and banned
What an idiot

Yes i heard that bit too but he also mentioned the ‘shit songs’ a lot too so wondered what they were to upset him ?

Great result - just makes all the squandered points recently all the more galling.
With 3 of the next 4 at home and Aveley away we could go into Easter in a great position IF we can get our home form going - 100 percent aggression and front foot football from minute one.

Another plastic pitch conquered, and their manager it seems. Nothing missing from this performance.

Another good performance and result.
At least the away end 'terrace' was open for us this time but why didn't Dorking install proper steps in it?

He just comes across as bitter I’m afraid. If his team had put in a decent away performance , which we did, and won 1-0 he wouldn’t be stating two very poor teams. They couldn’t create anything against us. Stupid to throw beer and couldn’t hear many songs let alone crap ones on the open terracing tiny ground.
Having said that, they will have the bit between their teeth should we meet in a few weeks time so I’m sure he will be full of it if that is the case.

His main issue seemed to be one our fans throwing a pint in a Dorking player's face.
And that’s fair enough. Whoever did that, what a low life
Marc White courts Z-list celebrity status. His antics against away fans means he will always mobilise supporters to give him and his team 'banter'. YouTube is full of him being an idiot. The pint tossing is out of order, but doesn't sound like a Torquay fan. The 'shit songs' is just him bitter that they lost - ha!

Dorking manager is correct it is a shit league and these are the standards in it. But can we get out of it ?
That’s the question. This was a gritty no nonsense performance after Salisbury and a deserving 0-1 away.
We would have all taken this after Tuesday night.
Excellent 3 points all things considered, but yes Dorking looked a far better side at Plainmoor earlier this season. Fact.

The throwing of the pint over a Dorking player has gone viral. Someone mentioned he is a Swindon fan but with no evidence he is more like to be a TUFC fan who lives away or a mate of someone.

He is a Swindon fan, I was talking to him in the first half. His mates are Torquay fans so was with them. Scummy behaviour that looks bad on us and I imagine we’ll be fined

So just when you think it's all over, in typical Torquay United fashion we go and win this game.
Bath on Saturday (pun intended) who have put a bit of a run together, but more frightening for us, they are in the bottom half of the table. Then it's on to Aveley after that, and with them being the bottom club our chances of getting any points from that game are similar to Norway in The European Song Contest!
