I think that it is pretty much nailed on.

I think Colchester have shown some interest, and he has played for them and has hero worship status there aswell, but I am certain he will come home.

I agree if we get Jamie back then it will be a great signing, but we have other options if it doesn't happen, This just made sense as Jamie is a free agent, we still have a little money in the kitty to spend on a striker, and Buckle said that he is still looking at, at least 2 other strikers aswell as Jamie.

I dont like to make predictions but I would say that if Sawyer, Lines and Kuffour stay then top 7 should be achieved.

I hope one of those strikers is not Zebs or Kee!

I can see Zebs being on Buckles hitlist.

We need a forward who can play on the wing badly.

As for Cureton ive heard rumours of Colchester interest but only hear-say. Usually agents try to whip up a lot of interest and make options known, so as theres been little evidence of anyone else wanting him i'd say he'll be ours by Monday.

Well, Nobody was expecting that.

Jamie Cureton has signed for Leyton Orient.

Rumours were circulating at the weekend that he wanted to move closer to Essex as his wife wanted to be closer to her family.

So the striker we were after has gone elsewhere......Buckle could come sniffing after Zebroski again!!!!

Don't think he ever stopped sniffing round him. Rumours are it is likely to happen. Hope the rumours are wrong but more likely he will be in your shirt then ours come the start of play in August.

I think he was trying to get both in the building.

Buckles says he likes having 4 strikers and so far we only have Harrold and Joker4 who are experienced first teamers.

It's still early days yet Gashead, there are some decent strikers available (although seemingly far less than central midfielders). Besides, you made a lot more signings than us, what are you complaining about!

i see Liam dickinson has rolled up at Southend now, following his brief flirting with Argyle, along with Ryan Leonard - also former Argyle.
