2-0 and people think we can get promoted out of this league. Mid table at best in NLS is our level now. Ive accepted it & still support the club but thats what we are now

Maybe Jimmy is turning to the crowd again and waving his 'calm down' hands like he has it all under control.................doesn't seem that way.

So listening to the commentary, first half, a rubbish pitch which shouldn't be an excuse,a pair of centre halfs who met 48 hours ago, one should be good enough ,the another needs a season to come up to our standard if he ever does, no right side threat, and morton who is not and never will be a centre forwrd and two goals in the deficit column, a good day so far in essex, no excuses either, we travelled up friday morning, had the use of reading's plastic training pitch.

I suppose Ball will put the blame on Louis Dennis.

So much for the early season optimism. Three of our best players in Morgan, Dreyer and Young now gone. Dennis is nowhere to be seen, and meantime our star striker is away on International duty. What a shambles.

Backline is ridiculously fragile. Until that is fixed there is no chance of success. The whole team is built on a foundation of sand.

So it ends, their goalkeeper didnt have to make a save until the 85 minute, when we needed a centre forward, cooke gets played tuesday in a nothing match and cannot manage a satarday game because of a knock.even our own in house commentary team said we were ineffective and couldnt get to grips with the pitch and didnt real trouble a part time team.Not impressed

At this point last season, we had 20 points from our first ten league games, including five wins from our opening five home league games.

This season we currently have 13 points from ten.

It’s still early days, but is 13 points from ten games the sort of start you’d expect from a side challenging for promotion — or even a play-off place?

Just asking.

Last season we had a strong start but ultimately ended up sacking the manager later in the campaign. It’ll be interesting to see how this season develops.

Something is very wrong about this situation and it's not just the results.

There has been a lot of goodwill and money gone into the club under the new structure, but that should not make them immune to scrutiny.

Mid table after 10 games, strange things happening with player relationships and and results like this mean, to me indicate it's time to ask serious questions of both the club and the team management
