About as good a half as I've seen for a while. Wombles have barely had a sniff. We've forced 3 good quality stops out of their keeper, who then went a spoilt it by slamming a clearance straight into Rene at point-blank range which trickled into the net. We've had a few near misses from corners, Craig's delivery is causing plenty of problems. Wimbledon had one shot saved by Pokey in the first minute, but otherwise that's it. They are playing it out from the back and are so bad at it - just asking for trouble as showed by the goal.

Still a few rough edges on our part though. Downes doesnt look as composed as he did pre-ban, and still a couple of jittery communication moments. I'd like to see us push on for a second at least as there does look to be a mistake in us.

Rene is a real handful up front. Bodin started well but has faded a bit. Oastler outstanding and has been involved in some real champagne football.

So far so good but not home and dry yet!

Cheers for that Jeff, really worried about what you sais about Bodin because in the games at Vale and Rotherham he was non existant and to hear he is beginning to fade already is worrying. I,m still not convinced he is up to the rigours of regular first team league football and maybe he would be a better option as an impact sub?
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

According to bbc weve had 20 attempts at goal. Really need to take some of these chances!

Not at the game, listening on the wireless, but I'm still hugely disappointed that we aren't 4 or 5 up. Wimbledon sound absolutely terrible and we STILL haven't managed to score a proper goal.

Matt.
