Star Trek = loved watching the old series repeats when i was a kid, some were sh!te though, then loved the films etc with shatner and the original crew - didnt mind next gen a little bit but struggled to get into any of the various sequel series or next gen films.

Battlestar Galactica = havent watched the more modern ones, liked the original series when i was a kid though.

X files = most of this was very good and enjoyed it a lot. agree the films were a bit crap though.

Quantum leap = loved it, a bit cheesy and silly at times but very enjoyable. enjoyed it first time around. was repeated on itv 4 last year and i thought it might not be as good as i remember but it actually was.

My fave Star Trek film was Star Trek Generations when the next gen gang met up with the old lot.

Mate i'm glued to it! It's one long relentless stream of hot women singing! Having said that, the British ones on now. Good singer but looks like a pygmy who's had botox. Horrific. Keep watching mate, Iceland usually have a racy one. Jesus, you ought to hear us 30 somethings sat at home on a saturday night drooling over foreign birds singing absolute cack! watching the recap, indeed the finnish bird is a bit tasty but i think the belarus chick just nicks it, all i can say is 'kin ell.

the best film, really enjoyed that one, shats was brilliant in this. a big group of us went to the cinema to see it and even though we new it was coming we were gutted at kirks demise at the end. dare i say there was a few with a lump in the throat and a spot of moistness in the eyes, and i swear i heard a brief bit of snivelling in some quarters.

the only criticism is the ending was a bit of a sh!t way for a character as awesome as kirk to go out. (although he was brought back in a few books after).

christ, i'll have to dig it out and watch it now, i havent seen it for ages.

indeed, if you had told me 3 hours ago i would watch most of the eurovision i would have offered you a straitjacket. this thread and looking at the eurovision in a different way has definitely helped me get through the evening.

same time next year then.

Big Brother has started again. Seriously, someone chuck a grenade in there and do the world a huge favour.

Oh and I've just watched the funniest thing I've ever seen......CONFESSIONS OF AN ALIEN ABDUCTEE on channel 4. Absolutely p*ssed myself at that, a serious documentary that transpired to be pure comedy genius. Check out the common Yorkshire woman with the big hair eating KFC and claiming aliens like chicken! Quality!!! Sounds like she's from Hoyland or Shafton eh Super! F*cking hilarious!!

i just watched most of that also. there more than likely is life on other planets, it would be arrogant to think there isnt but these people were comedians surely.

what the hell would anybody on this planet want with some of them, let alone visitors from another world.

especially liked the chicken bit and when the other woman got the right hump when she took a lie detector test and the guy said she was a lying tw@t.

she also insisted her dna was tampered with so she is part alien(proved wrong), and she had alien tracking implants apparently.

i think there was a guy also thinking he was being followed by a secret organisation wasnt there.

To be fair chunky, i have seen identical UFO's at the same spot on two occasions 8 years apart having used the same stretch of motorway for the past 12 years. IMO i am in no doubt i witnessed an alien craft on both occasions. I am a believer. Also having lived and worked near to Whitby where the bloke off the programme lived, the road he was driving up on the tv was the road through the North York Moors from Pickering to Whitby, an area i know very well indeed. Just off that road is a military installation or RAF base called Fylingdales which used to have golf ball shaped domes like at Menwith Hill but now they have been changed to big square units. Fyligdales was always thought to be a radar to detect foreign craft in airspace over the north sea but many stories to the contrary are well documented. A mysterious place indeed.

That bloke though lacked a mother figure and invented the alien mother story because he wanted a mother he never had whilst the other woman lost her daughter and was looking for solace in fabricated alien stories. The Yorkshire woman was just on JSA and thick as pigsh*t!

absolutely there is alien life out there. no doubt we probably have been visited. some documentaries and programmes i have seen have very credible and much more believable witnesses.

a lot of people have seen things in the sky that have been dismissed as various scientific things or there are always long winded explanations. many of which are utter rubbish.there is definitely something in it.

for those who say it is impossible or there is no life on other planets or they would be too far away.how the bloody hell do they know.looking through a telescope isnt going to tell us everything. just because we dont have the technology, skills or knowledge doesnt mean other planets or races havent.

the older i get the more i realise there are a lot of things we are told or not told. those in charge or running things only tell us what they want us to believe or know.

the big question is did the americans really put a man on the moon?

I don't know the answer to that chunky but i do know that people like David Icke get ridiculed but when you actually come out of your comfort zone to analyse his claims then a lot of them begin to make sense. Illuminati and all that.

Brazil v Japan in the confederations cup, i'm enjoying the football but not only do I have to listen to the co - commentator talking nonsense but then I have to physically SEE Robbie Savage AND Alan Shearer in the studio looking like suited gents AND listen to them talking absolute b*llocks. Come on BBC, sort it out, they look like a pair of ladyboys.

Oh and tomorrow night we have THE WHITE QUEEN. Oh what originality, another costume drama full of sex. They may as well just dress some porno stars up and let them get on with it. That's all these costume dramas are, hero meets heroine and they shag a few times - THE END. BORING.
