It may not surprise anyone, you might already know, journalist Alan Biggs, is, 100% a Chesterfield fan, he was a their AGM, where this incident was discussed and went on this one man rampage after on Monday night, wonder if he was even at the game.

Indeed Chris, to be fair here, it sounds like Chesterfield and their fans whilst rightly unhappy that one of their players may have been bitten, they aren't the ones making a huge fuss, trying to create a sh'tstrom here, it's Mr I'm so morale reporter man who is.

So moral that he supports a convicted thug like Madine. Daily Mail, morals of the gutter.

cooks been on - with a pic as well.......and if thats a bite joss has got small teeth and a small gob.....

looks more like a friendly (barnsley) tweak to me..........

said that they have "moved on" and that "TUFC can/could/should deal with it internally"......

thats of course if there is "anything to deal wth"....

Then you should have written: 'and I would then feel uneasy'. To say 'I feel uneasy' indicates that you feel uneasy now, before he's had a book thrown at him..

Just to add to the pain. Last we have seen of him in a Gulls shirt?

Moronic brutality. Well done Joss, just what the club needs.

Being charged means the FA see a case to be answered. Without knowing what's gone on, we can't possibly know whether he'll be found guilty or not. However, if he's denied it and the FA are seeking to rely upon that ropey footage we've all seen, he might well walk. Something about this doesn't seem quite right.

Very little evidence but why would Chesterfield go public on it if it was not true? What benefit would it have to them at a time when they have much bigger things on their agenda?

Suspect there is more in the way of evidence as I cannot see how they would charge him without. A lengthy ban is on the cards would be my assumption.

For what its worth the club have never really got involved with the whole thing since it happened and I think Paul Cook even said he would leave it to Torquay to deal with if it had happened. It was initially brought to light by the player apparently bitten, Ollie Banks, post game on twitter and then more widely by Biggs tweeting about it, the Daily Mail story and other papers picking up on it. I believe also the ref put something in his report about it hence why the FA have got to this stage with it...more so that a random journo prodding them to investigate.

would still like to hear what Joss has to say before we all condemn him; in the interests of fair play & 'innocent before proven guilty' & all that. Although it looks bad, there's still part of me that hopes it's not true (in the same way that it looks like we're headed down down down, but part of me hopes that's not true either) :-/

How does this FA charge work? Does this mean he's suspended for Saturday or do we have to wait to later in the week to find out?
Could do with Cooper being fit.
