I think 'consistency' is the key to being successful in any division. If only it was a simple to find it as it is to say it.

That game against Grays, though, marked the whole new era feeling. New consortium, Buckle, Colin Lee, the Bristows, even Daryl Batten as Commercial Manager - the club just felt brand new and suddenly professional and forward looking.ROADRUNNER wrote:We played our first game in the conferance lastvtime against grays in front of over 4000, people have short memories, there is no reason if ch gets in the right players and we support our team like last time why we cant pull it off again, if we stick together then it can be done. People will soon start watching again when they are winning whatever league we are in?
I suspect first game the crowd will be around 1800, this time around.

I think you will find if we have a winning side the crowds will be around our average, as I said before people will come along to watch a winning team wehatever league we are in.

Yes, IF we're winning, our crowds will return to our 'normal' level of between 2,000 and 2,200 (bearing in mind away attendances will be generally minuscule. If things are going very well, we might get back towards 2,500. TauntonGull makes an excellent point which I neglected to - as strange as it might sound, there was a massive feel-good factor around our last stay in the BSP. We attracted an excellent squad and there was a buzz about our short-term and long-term prospects. It won't be like that again - however 'negative' it might be to say so.

that is a fair point. I think the reason being was that we had accepted relegation due to the situation we found ourselves in and it was a new beginning.Fonda wrote:Yes, IF we're winning, our crowds will return to our 'normal' level of between 2,000 and 2,200 (bearing in mind away attendances will be generally minuscule. the problem is this time is that it could have been avoided. and I dont think that fans will attend to same degree again in the conference.
