BBC text says it's much more even. 50/50 possession and 4 shots to 3 in our favour.

But I much prefer your version. I'll go with that.

Afternoon all, Downes has been an inspiration this season. Doesn't it feel good to be a threat up front, from midfield, from set pieces..

Well. good end to first half I reckon they came to shut us out first and foremost. stop shipping goals to improve their position. its stifled us a bit but not for long. if we can break them open in the second half then we can score more. Notice Rovers have only one goal past Woking at half time.
We have had 4 shots in total on target out of 6 in all/ they have only had one, out of 3. surprisingly no corners according to BBC stats. that's assuming the stats are correct.
Fouls committed by both sides is a little high. hoping hope of hopes we don't start getting bookings out of this.

Odd. what BBC site are yo on. I Got BBC Live score with stats and it clearly says 6 shots with 4 on target against their 3 shots with one on target. and 52% to 48% possession which is fairly even though that doesn't tell the whole story

No corners according to the stats but in the live updates says corner to Torquay in the 33rd and 35th minutes. As reliable as always :~D

That was on the BBC app. It was being a bit slow for me. Showed those stats for ages. Finally updated it to say the same as you just said.

Although the possession stats are fairly even, as long as we make good of the possession we have and prevent them from doing the same, we'll be grand. I can't get commentary today. Radio Devon just won't work for me, so I have no idea what is actually happening. You all say we have the upper hand and that is good enough for me!

BBC always says no corners, surely you know that there have been more than zero corners, as we scored from a corner.

It sounds like we've had 4 or 5 corners first half. Second half we aren't sounding great to be honest. Get Cameron on I reckon.

We aren't going to be brilliant every game. but we do need to keep winning even when we are not playing that well. that's the mark of a winning team. anyone can win a few games. even have a small run. but to keep winning even when playing under par. that's the mark of a team that will go somewhere this season. Sounds as if Counrteny Cameron on soon. Maybe Ajala as has been suggested.

Sadly, I haven't been to Plainmoor for three years. Small kids and lack of money make it difficult. But every season I hope to get there. Always nice to meet fellow Gulls :)

Oh bring em over one weekend. we will take em all down to dawlish. leave em there with wife and come back later. I am sure it can be possible. i have a knack of making things happen on nothing. One way or another it can be done. I am only 30 odd miles away. and boy are those miles odd.
