Totally agree ..what a bloody amateurish lash up not to provide refreshments for the visiting team. Shows up in a very bad light.

Agree also, read about this on another forum, not just the lack of hospitality shown to Tiverton, but respect also, as no director attended the game beggars belief. Apparently, as written elsewhere, it was Steve Breed and Nigel Tabb who tried to apologise to a very hacked of Tiverton team, hopefully our club has done the right thing and sent a full apology, not the way to do business. All I'll say to Tivvy, don't get mad, get even.

I didn't say that (though it is of some concern that a team consisting of a decent amount of first team players failed to overturn a team somewhat lower than us), merely pointing out the error if your statement.

Glostergulls off on his latest rant There were no directors at the game, there were no pasties for Tiverton. Does anyone actually care - why does Steve Breed need to apologise to Tiverton anyway - he is a commentator isn't he.
If they are that hungry theres a Macdonalds at Cullompton.

Perhaps Andy Candy could respond here on behalf of the club?

I guess its something to do with us not being used to playing amateur sides. Perhaps the microwave was broken or something. Its hardly anything to get hot under the collar about.

So respect manners and courtesy are words that do not mean anything to you ? This make our club look worse than the "pub teams" that you are so fond of disparaging.

Apologies, I wasn't at the game and clearly misread the post from elsewhere, still bad form though.

Sometimes, Brucie, you're an ars*hole. I know many on here won't agree with me. They will say you're an ars*hole all the time ..........

Look Brucie is right in the sense this thing with Tiverton isn't worth getting to hot under the collar about, and to be fair no one is. The thing is, most of us fans want to see our club go about it's business in the right and proper manner.

Good public relations (vital) extent professional courtesy (automatic regardless of status) good manners (a given) Pound to a penny we did not treat Grimsby Town like this, we certainly did not treat Aldershot that way, their board directors were in no10's having three courses, was on the table next to them, have a sportsman bet Aldershot's directors were fed courtesy of TUFC, so why treat Tiverton in this manner.

Their was someone on hand to sort out after match refreshments for our team, while Tiverton were left to wonder into the Gulls nest to find no director or club official to greet them, in fact it appears to have been left to the bar staff to inform our opposition there was nothing doing for them, at the end of day £50 and 10 minutes of someone's time to make sure they were being looked after, that's what it would have took, piss poor to treat a team in such an ill mannered way, that's the point Wivel, brucie has some what misjudged this situation.
