Nice one Maccas, would have taken that before the game. Did well to pull it back as 1-2 down and played with ten men for the last 10 mins.

Ok, they equalised, but they shouldn't have fecked it up in the first place. Idiots.

Matt.

And Accrington seem to have a habit of scoring two goals in the final 20 minutes..

So a win tommorow would take us above Accie. I would love that and if Stevenage drop points all the better.

I'm with you Tommy. Shitley are one of my least favourite clubs. Nothing to do with the fans, just the results we get up there, added to their pitch and their ground. I could not take L1 football seriously if that is where that lot were.

Matt.

Surely the Crown Ground isn't up to L1 standard? It's (one of) the worst in L2, let alone L1?!?

I don't think there is any requirement to improve standards between L1 and L2. In the championship I think a team would have 3 years grace to become all seater, but no such ruling exists betweens Leagues 1 and 2.

That said, I'm sure the football league admission criteria is that any club getting promoted to the league must have plans for 6000 capacity and 2000 seats within 3 years. 5 years after their promotion the Crown Ground has a capacity of 5057, and allegedly 2000 seats but I don't believe it.

But as we've found out with this weeks events, Accrington are above the rules of the Football league and cannot be touched..............

Thats because the FL wait till the period in which we can appeal runs out (28 days from the hearing) before officially removing the points

BBC Sport website has not removed the point but strangely, Final Score did. Fortunately, our goal difference is effectively an extra point which is keeping us in the same place. I can't help but feel the point lost will be crucial come what May though.

Burton down to 10 now, too.

Sounds a cracker. :|

EDIT: Talking of crackers, the Brighton-Dagenham game looks a good'un. BHA 2-1 up at HT, D&R pull it back to 2-3 before Brighton score two more to make it 4-3.

If it stays the same, they're promoted to the Championship, and I believe they've sold 16,000 season tickets for their new ground, already. :O
