Lets not get carried away - we had the worst pre season in living memory the year we got promoted. But on the other hand I'd much rather see us winning these games than getting smashed off the park.

You cannot take too much from friendlies. But I think we can take that Chappell and Cameron are going to be dangerous in league two.

How did the two trialists do?

Cooper grew into the game as it went on, lacks height but makes up for it with control

Rendell didnt look sharp (understandably) dont know if he is the answer really

Is he any good on the ball?

Rendell was useless, only won a couple of headers, and the centre backs he was up against weren't exactly big! The number 5 at the back for us looked comfortable

Sorry to hear Rendell wasn't able to take advantage of the opportunity. When I saw he'd been replaced after less than hour, I assumed either a) he was lacking fitness or b) Knill had already seen enough by that point. Not sure where that leaves us now though...?

Jayden Stockly is still a possibility as is Trottman, hopefully with time passing by quickly decisions will be made

One can only assume that we are going to swap another player with Northampton !

How did Sullivan do? I see he scored. If we bring in 2 strikers then surely he'll be loaned out?

I would be happy with Rendall as a sub, but if he's going to be first choice be a bit disappointed.

I thought Rendell was quite poor, won a few headers but generally lost the ball a lot. Cooper however, I thought he looked very good, would happily have him at Plainmoor.

Did Keiffer Moore get any time on the pitch - did he do anything?

Came on in the 2nd half, didnt really quite a chance or many touches! certainly a big lad, lacked some control,

Wont be any where near championship level, could be an okay loanee
