A big centre forward and a loanee striker then I don't think we could have recruited much better.

Mozika then would be the ultimate for us.

How does us signing a CB prevent Manse getting in the side?

As for Mozika, I'm not 'in the know', but I'd be amazed if he comes in after the Harding signing. Pretty sure we can put that one to bed.

Pearce would be a fantastic signing for us. Highly rated at every place he's played. Why he's dropped down the leagues though, I'm not sure.

Still, I think he would be brilliant for us.

Comment from a Notts County fan on another forum:

"Pearce if anything is probably the shining example of how much is about what's between the ears and talent only gets you so far."

They say he is very talented but makes too many costly errors, sounds a bit like Mark Ellis!

I want to believe. But there's still nothing on the official site (re: Pearce).

Would we ever get someone with blindly obvious talent and a great work ethic, as if they did they would be kept on. A drop down to league two is a wake up call for anyone in football.

Think him and Downsey could be two very solid centre halves, both great in the air and both mobile. Tonge sounds very steady, and now it's time for Cruise to step up or step out.

This is super biased but Pearce and Downes have the potential to be one of the best centre back pairing in the league. From what I've Pearce, is extremely quick for a CB and if this is true him and Downes' attributes would go hand in hand.

It seems to be thing that AK agrees to sign them, and then that there medical is not only just a medical but a game also and then they sign on the Monday.

That's was seemingly happened with Harding, he trained, agreed, played then signed Monday officially.

Although until I see it on BBC it's not confirmed in my opinion.

If Pearce does sign then I think this would be an excellent signing. Fingers crossed.

More and more I'm coming to believe that this Pearce rumour is bosh.
