Yeah I guess it does. But we can't make excuses for our remaining games if we reach the playoffs. We will have to do it without Stanley, if we are good enough as a squad to go up then we will.

I agree. I was at Bradford and I reckon that we have the depth in midfield to cope with any team in this league.

Rotherham away could be tricky but they have nothing to play for but pride. I think we will need a point, and we will get it in the last minute!

Superb!

For one of the Gills or Stevenage to lose would have been excellent, but both is a real shock. Surely one of Chesterfield or Bury will win next weekend - Chesterfield will want to win the league in style, wheras Bury will want to win to be there just in case as with Chesterfields form its not impossible that they might lose.

But relying on other clubs isn't what we want to do, and we fell foul of that in 04/05. What is most important is that we have it in our own hands. Win, and we're 6th. Its that simple.

(However, I'd quite happily not win and finish 7th. Really want to avoid Accrington in the semis. I think we'd have a better chance with Wycombe/Shrewsbury - both sides we've comprehensively outplayed this season and no doubt will be affected by having missed out on the automatic slot)

Interesting.

We have to win next weekend to be sure. But what ever the results, should we be in the plat offs after next weekend it will probably mean that we face Accrington Stanley the team in form at the moment. However, that also means that if we beat them we must fancy our chances in the final.

Not sure if that makes sense?

In case it doesn't does anyone know the play off final dates?

Gillingham must be in total shock. You just never know. To lose their last 2 home games 2-4 to Barnet and Macclesfield is unbelievable!!!!!!!
