Here we go again. Just as Knill finally, finally starts focusing his attention on the attacking positions we need to bolster, Downes is unavailable for a prolonged spell and Knill will most likely make a centre back his priority. Oh, and this game is a write-off already. The bottom two beckons...

We need Argyle and Accrington to lose. Can't see us getting anything here now.

Not surprised in the slightest, but it still feels like a sickening knee to the gut. I'd just like to thank Simon Baker and co. for being so incompetent and arrogant which has led to the club I love being flushed down the toilet. Thanks a lot guys. :-D We wouldn't have suffered this ineptitude under Bateson so you must have done well.

Oh my good God. Just logged on, albeit without any optimism, and seen this. Smiffy, you have summed it up perfectly.

It's just the sign of a doomed side when he picks this crucial period to have 2 shockers ( 2 goals responsible for v Oxford and tonight ) . The worrying thing for me also is that i was chatting to a Chesterfield fan tonight in the co op and they have won their last 2 so are gearing up for a last push at getting a play off spot. They are well up for 3 points next tuesday night at Plainmoor. I can't see us winning even that.I just hope that the other results go for us tonight and while we're at it, can i just say how gutted i am for those that made the journey tonight in blind hope as they are the ones freezing their knackers off in that poohole and immense respect to them all. If the clunb don't refund all ticket costs tomorrow then they what little backbone i thought they had has now shattered.
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

Every time I listen to the game on the Radio, I hear the faint cry of 'Come on Torquay' from our fans! The plead :(
