If you and I can agree on it, Trucker, it must be the right thing to do :)

Were we not due to recieve the go-ahead (or otherwise) for this over a week ago? Did i miss the announcement, or have we gone quiet because the news isn't good? I'd have expected an update if the message received was a positive one...?

It is great news! The club really need this to go through, it's improve the look of the ground by filling in that annoying space at the end of the grandstand, and really complete the stadium. Hopefully i'll be able to say i'm proud to call Plainmoor a proper stadium! :)

Ian : Are you taking the p*ss ?

I liked Saturday Grandstand better in the days of David Coleman and Frank "Boff"(Bough).

Back in the day (1965 onwards), my primary school legs would run me home from Plainmoor after matches back to downtown Ellacombe and get me in on time for the full classified results which would then be followed by Dr.Who starring William Hartnell.

The Doctor it seems, is forever in conflict with the Daleks. As one gets older, one realises it's the dialects. When are those who no speaka da proper Engleesh gonna realise that we who do are not gonna ever speak a b*stardised form of it. :engflag:

( :engflag:) denotes the patriot who is often called a "scoundrel" (xenophobic racist by those who themselves are fundamental xenaphobic racists who follow the religion called Ispork).

Like pork, fundamental Islam (among others) can't be educated. Conflict aboard the "Black Pig" it is then. :engflag:

I wonder who Bix has money on ? Cap'n Pugwash and the crew or Cap'n Hook (HAMza) and his crew ?

Oops  drifted off topic.

Good news then from the Foundation about our application for grant aid.

Anyone know if the club are planning on selling off bits of the old one? Wouldn't mind a couple of grandstand seats to tuck away down the garden.
