Don't like the comment that "Torquay are conceding a lot of ground" ..that's what usually leads to us giving away a goal or two

Gateshead level at home to Solihull.
Sevilla still 0-0 at Old Trafford. Piss myself if they got an away goal and went through.

I'm not sure about this 'put 6 at the back and defend' approach to winning games...I hope it works out !

Exactly my point!Gloomy Gull wrote: 13 Mar 2018, 21:12 Don't like the comment that "Torquay are conceding a lot of ground" ..that's what usually leads to us giving away a goal or two
The defensive approach is a direct invite to attack us.
Winning teams use attack as the preferred method of defence!
Good news re Gateshead. Seville have gone 1-0 up.Yorkieandy wrote: 13 Mar 2018, 21:12 Gateshead level at home to Solihull.

Sounds like Sokolik struggling with CDM role and going a bit too deep.Bristol_Gull wrote: 13 Mar 2018, 21:16 Exactly my point!

It won't do. It rarely has and it didn't work last weekend either. Owers commenting the other day about lots of late goals costing us well if you sit back and be dominated then it's likely you'll concede.Bristol_Gull wrote: 13 Mar 2018, 21:15 I'm not sure about this 'put 6 at the back and defend' approach to winning games...I hope it works out !
There all over us now

2-0 Sevilla!! Game over for one of the most miserable and overrated managers that ever existed. Bye Jose. You are already a dinosaur.
I would have thought Sokolik would have dropped back to CB after Gowling went off and O'Sullivan in midfieldRjc70 wrote: 13 Mar 2018, 21:17 Sounds like Sokolik struggling with CDM role and going a bit too deep.
