Buckles name isn't as prominent this time around surprisingly.
They've given a caretaker role to Stuart Campbell until the end of the season and then depending on how he does and what division they're in, the summer might prove interesting.

Amusingness of the day. If you Google 'Dave Penney' the news results returned are as follows: Jan 10th 2011, Rovers appoint Penney. Then, on the line immediately below: March 7th 2011. Rovers sack manager Penney.
Comedy gold.
Matt.

13 games in charge. lost 9 of them. Hardly form that'll keep them up.
Still, not all bad if we don't go up - Yeovil, Argyle, Swindon, Brizzle, Walsall and Exeter being dragged into it could make it fairly southern next season.
Chesterfield, Rovrum, Bury and Gillingham go up and thats 4 long journeys gone.

Nick - you never know as well, it could actually be beneficial to the club financially to stay in L2 next season... I'm not for one minute suggesting we shouldn't still want to be going up, but imagine the boost to gates if Yeovil, Argyle, Rovers and Swindon came down. Would be even better if Exeter messed up spectacularly and came down too, instead of any of them (apart from Argyle). When was the last time we played in such a heavily South West represented league?

I'm guessing 01/02, when us, Argyle, Exeter, Rovers, Swansea and Oxford were all in L2 (or Div3 even...)

Got to agree, Rob.
All those would bring 1200 or whatever the full allocation is these days, it'd be a 6,000 sell out when the grandstand is done.
Plus I've never seen a competitive game between us and Argyle, so I want us to play them next year!!

Argyle will stay up. No question.
