Impressive score-line. Lets hope we can keep the momentum going with a team of down to earth players with a winning mentality.

Tuesdays result didn’t make us awful and today result doesn’t make us superb.

No judgements can really be made until the season starts, pre season is about fitness, team bonding and tactics. Results are largely distorting.

A truthful account, it was 0-0 at half time against Poole's first team then Poole made whole-sale changes at half-time an it was a case of men against boys. Nonetheless the end result will instill some confidence into our team.

Just back from the game. An encouraging performance, especially the second half. So many new players and trialists, so it will take time to for them to blend into a team capable of a (hopefully) good season in the National League South. Expect a couple more signings in the next few days. Let's stay positive, especially as the friendlies should help go a long way towards helping Gary Owers knowing his best squad for the forthcoming season. A good day out in Dorset!

Thanks for the feedback which is welcomed. Why expect a couple of signings in the next few days? Something you heard today?

Who were our best players today Dennis? Did Gowling and Pittman get a run out?

I liked the trialist no: 12 who looked rather rather accomplished and creative in the first half. Don't know his name. Alex Bass made a couple of good saves, but wasn't troubled too much. Ben Wynter made some good runs and can cross the ball well. Gowling and Pittman came on in the second half. Asa Hall played quite well after a slow start in what was a very hot afternoon. Samir Nabi appears to have some talent too, I expect a lot from him. The only worry is that TQ need to be a little more dynamic in the box as they missed a lot of chances in the second half. A good work out, but so many substitutions, nevertheless a good start....... and they will get better I am sure.
