Hmmm, does look like yet another work experience boy, just the sort I didn't want us to get, all pace and manbags, not enough actual talent. What we need is a non-league maestro with over 100 goals in 2.5 years, not a boy to make the tea.
Matt.

What is it with Paul Buckle and strikers over 5' 7'' ?
It is because PB's a short arse ?

I agree with Matt in that we need a thug (he didn't say thug though) of a target man who can let centre backs know they've been in a boxing match, hit the net and still remain on the pitch until the final whistle without so much as a talking too from the ref, let alone any sort of coloured card.

A bit surprised by this one as clearly he isn't a "big target man". I wonder whether this means we have pulled out of the deal for Hannah .. at least until the summer when maybe we will be able to pick him up for free? The reason I say that is that with this guy on board we now have 5 loanees in place already (Oastler, Robinson, Stanley, Pringle and now Murray) which is the maximum we can name in a match day squad .. so any further signings would mean one of the aforementioned would have to drop out. They (Murray and Hannah) seem a bit samey to me and surely if Bucks were to squueze another one in it would be a "big man" rather than yet another striker in the mould of Murray, Robinson, Kee etc.

but ladies, especially Royal ones of diminutive statue, are referred to as petit and elfin like, but never as short arses.
My apologies Ma'am for not making this clear in the first instance.

Torquay United - Looking out for the little guy. I like it, 'tis catchy, should be the club slogan.
I do agree we need someone a teeny bit taller. But everytime someone joins us everyone moans about the height before giving them a chance. He could have been bitten by a kangaroo as a child, giving him super jumping abilities between the hours of 3 and 5pm on a Saturday and on occasional week nights for all we know.
Edited to add that it was me who first mentioned height in regards to Hannah, it was merely a little jest as I am a shorty. A proper shorty, not an above average height but too short for football shorty, like our new friend Murray here

He's been on the fringes of Ipswich's first team so it sounds promising. Give him a chance before accusing him of being a "work expeiriance boy" he's not the target man we need but if he can chip in with a few goals and help keep us in the playoff race we cant ask for much more.

it's not a case of giving him pelters on the premise that he can't "see over the counter so to speak" it is just we need a different sort of player
