I expect everyone on this site will have heard the news that Nicho has been appointed the player-manager of Mousehole. I for one would like to wish him all the very best in his new challenge - you have to start again somewhere. However I think the Football Conference website people need a Geography lesson:

If I'm not mistaken I think the village of Mousehole is still in Cornwall and has not relocated to Wales!

Maosl as it's pronounced locally i believe. As a northerner. I have been there. Beautiful place.

Shocked really. It's essentially a pub team and with the NL experience he gained at Torquay i expected him to re-enter at NL level. No doubt though that the tiny village in the depths of Cornwall is one of the better places to live in the UK if indeed he is living in the area.

Think we all wish Nicho well. But this can't be in any way overplayed, Mousehole are Peninsula league division 1 West, this is one step above SDL premier division level ( feeder league for the East division ) Hope it turns out to be everything he wants, and leads to something bigger, my gut feeling is it wont.
