HOW LONG BEFORE ?
How long do you reckon it is before Mr. Buckle is linked to the vacant managers job at Coventry?
Or is that what I've just done?
Or is that what I've just done?
Yes you have just linked Paul Buckle to the Coventry job, watch the H/E tommorow
All joking aside,i think Coventry will be desperate for a return to the premiership and more than likey will see a more experienced ,bigger name manager as the person to take them forward, think this job is far to big for Bucks at the moment.

He,s got no chance of landing a job in the Championship. League one top end maybe, but which club in the top half of any club are gonna get rid of their manager. He may go to Scunny at end of the season when they are relegated and Baraclough gets booted out though.

If and when Buckle leaves it'll be to a club closer to London.

I've always wondered this, partly why I hope Brentford and Orient do well!Southampton Gull wrote:If and when Buckle leaves it'll be to a club closer to London.

As a Gull living relatively near to Coventry, there has been no mention of Mr Buckle. Paul Tisdale (sorry for that) has been listed in the local press, but as a rank (and I mean rank) outsider. Kevin Blackwell seems the local paper favourite at the moment, or de Matteo as he is known to like the wine bars of nearby Leamington Spa!!! Say no more......
Got to admit, I think Di Matteo would be an excellent manager for Coventry. He did well at West Brom, and I think he was unfairly sacked - they weren't in serious trouble and the football they were playing seemed decent..

Scunthorpe have sacked their manager today, and Brian Laws is the favourite. Interestingly, Alan Knill of Bury is the second favourite..

Mr Laws certainly has a rep for keeping clubs away from relegation....errrrryellowforever wrote:
