Alex Addai has signed on a short-term deal. Is the fifth sub by the looks of it.

Just listened to Johnsons pre match, reckons that our new winger is not match fit yet, not sure why he has mentioned him alone he can say that about most of the team, while attacking additions are obviously pleasing we need back four loans and probably midfielders too.

Utter joke that we sign players that are not fit. I available, unfit and overweight, where do I sign?

The new lad will be fit but just not match fit…. E.g match sharpness, touch and control etc…. Which is understandable as he wouldn’t of played any competitive football in a few months

Which begs the question why not. Is he not good enough to have joined a club yet? Surely we need to be looking at players who are already at a club, are match fit, but just don’t fit into that clubs plans at the moment?

If I remember rightly, we signed Whitfield after a few games and the FL transfer window was over.

Maybe he isn’t good enough, but maybe he was waiting for a league club that never came, let’s hope he’s what we need.
