Thats a pretty naive way of looking at it Mid. Staff have to be paid, bills need paying and you can be sure bills are going to be rising. The board cant keep running the club at a loss and dipping into their own pockets to stay afloat...The only places that supply and demand comes into effect in football are the likes of Arse, Salford, Chelski etc. Nowhere apart from a few premier clubs have more demand than supply...
A bloke with 2 u16's will cost £30 on the popside for a "cat a" match. OK, youve got to add on for chips etc (but thats the same at any other attraction, {or take your own sarnies}).
Same bloke will pay £28 for 15 minutes in the bloody ballon or, equally, pay £22.70 to walk round the model village for an hour. Unless you just want to sit on a beach, everything costs...
