Appears to be concern from some that we do not have the capacity to answer the volume of calls for telephone orders which have to be despatched by Wednesday to make the post and there is the risk / threat that supporters may not bother going?

Assuming we cannot increase the number of incoming lines at short notice is the answer for TUFC to provide a collection service at Old Trafford for those that cannot get through in time? This will allow TUFC to sell tickets upto Friday night over the phone and have them collected. Yes the club would have to resource the operation but surely we will have some employees on hand at the match -if not pay someone to do it!

I think the club needs to make whatever arrangements are necessary to ensure all those who want to support the team on saturday can do so.

Theyve got a call back service now. Just see the O/S and email them and they'll call you back.

Not everyone has e-mail. I don't think the call back service is enough in this instance. What will happen on Wednesday if not all calls are returned?

They are doing it till Wednesday so they have enough time to Phone everyone back and post the tickets in time for people to make the game.

you only have to read some of the comments on here regarding ticketing arrangements to know the answer to that!

I honestly dont understand what you expect from the club sometimes? We are still only a small club with limited resources, if you want all the bells and whistles support the premiershite. The club is doing the best it can, how about helping the club out instead of maoning and get someone to collect your ticket for you or just wait. If you dont show up Saturday ITS YOUR LOSS!!!!

No matter how tin pot you think we are, TUFC is a professional football club. Our business is selling tickets to people who want to watch a match. I don't think the club is doing the best it can in this respect - Stevenage who are no bigger or better than us do not seem to have the same problems and think it is odd that we are having such issues.

You don't think an option to pay for the tickets upto Friday and collect from TUFC staff on the day is a good idea then?

I think it's a great idea personally.

has anyone received their tickets by post yet ??

i'm guessing mine will arrive today (ordered monday) and i'm just interested to know if people received what they (thought they) ordered ?!!??

I ordered monday morning and yesterday evening when i called to sort the student debacle they hadn't even been posted yet!

Didn't receive mine today as I was expecting, nagging little worry but if the club are so busy they can't handle the volume of calls coming in then I guess I'll just have to be patient.

i'm hoping mine come today, so i have time to change them for the ones i asked for !!!

as i won't be home when the postie comes, i'll have to go to the sorting office tomorrow to sign for them, so the sooner they arrive, the better. don't want to be collecting them en route on saturday morning.
