Young - gave a really good account of himself, could have had a hat trick, not sure why one was disallowed. Lots of pace, shoots from any distance, should be a real threat when fully fit.
Not sure anyone else deserved it tbh, lots did good things, but also made mistakes/poor decisions, gave the ball away, couldn’t get the shot on target etc. Mussa it feels is being asked to do more defensive duties at the expense of some of the attacking qualities he has.
Another great attendance.

Agree that other than Young we were lacking in too many areas. I thought Hamon deserves s mention for a tidy performance.

Jordan Young MOTM. A great debut. Jordan has a magnificent left foot and delivers some of the best corner kicks I have ever seen.
Cody Cooke. On the score sheet again.
Dan Hayfield. Unlucky no tto score today.

Young - a goal, an assist and a threat whenever he got the ball, the best player on the pitch by far
Cooke - a goal and a tireless display despite some inept service from his team mates
Mussa - playing him in an advanced role at the outset contributed to the excellent overall team performance in the first 20 minutes
Hayfield - tried to do the work of two in midfield given Threlkeld's poor performance
Carson - for his attacking efforts towards the end of the game which made up for a poor performance in the earlier stages

Four of us were up from Plymouth for this one. Agree that Jordan Young was the best player on the pitch and looked at the very least two Divisions above. An exciting match and a great atmosphere too.
