Dear Bristol Rovers Fans

I feel this needs to be said as even the people you have debated with are showing they are fed up with you.
I have said it twice now in 2 different threads and I've said it nicely. I won't bother this time.
We no longer give a sh*t what you think, most of you are complete egits who make the same point over and over again and most importantly of all - this is a Torquay United forum. It might well be that your forum is awful and full of idiots (like most of the BR fans who have come on here) but frankly, I couldn't really give a damn.
You've outstayed your welcome, you're now just needlessly annoying people on our forum and for seemingly no reason other than you fancy being d*cks.
I won't reply to any BR fans after this post as I really can't be bothered to get involved in some slanging match because you have nothing better to do than go on another team's forum.
Can I suggest to the mods/admins, if these w*nkers don't find there way back to their own forums, they get banned?

The 'BritishGas' fella is ok. And there was another, who was only here briefly who was decent too. The rest are here only to antagonise.

Gashead Josh seems alright, to be fair.

So just the one we've got a problem with then...? It's another mountain/molehill situation!

I thought that originally, I think BritishGas came here with the right intentions but in the past week he kept pushing the points too much and too often to make me think he was anything other than a wind up, just intelligently done.
I had said some good things about him, but my opinion is lowering by the day and if he does reply on here in anything other than a respectful way, then I think my thoughts would be proven.
friendlygas was probably the best poster from BR.

Please i do not want any one to jump down my throat here,my opinion is and allways has been the forum should welcome fans of other clubs, i have allways tried not to take life on these forums to seriously , have the odd boil over but hey that cant be helped.
My point is these Rovers fans have brought i bit of new life to this forum, some have been friendly, brought banter which was sadly lacking, and others well just been utter d@cks.
I dont mind admiting and i hope Josh does not aswell that i exchanged a couple of p.m's with him to check some info he had,he does come across sound to me, B/G has brought banter, the odd wind up,and done nothing nother than defend his club when he thought Rovers were being unfairly accused of something, nothing wrong with that,i would do the same, whether he is right or wrong niether here nor there.
The banter between our two clubs will continue i have no doubt right through the season, and i look forward to it,after all Bristol Rovers are fast become Torquay united "B" TEAM,my suggestion would be allow them to continue back ask them to move all there posts on to the banter board that is waht it is there for, that way any of us who dont like it can ignore, just dont take to heart .
P.S yes friendlygas is o.k

As i alluded to in my Little club thread, we're not blameless. You can't make derisory comments about a visiting supporters club and expect them to be completely respectful in return. The banter is good, and under better circumstances i'm sure they'd have received a better welcome. Unfortunately, until we get a manager in situ and start signing some players of our own, stories about more staff/players leaving are not going to be well receievd.

I see your point forever, I'm just getting a bit fed up of seeing EVERY thread (including ones which have absolutely nothing to do with them) being hijacked. If they are to stay on here, then there should be some boundaries. Definitely the main board for one.

If a BR fan is antagonised, then fair enough if they give some back. I think we are all feeling a bit sensitive to recent movements up the M5, and most caused by one man's 'all about me' show.
I'm sure the heat will die down given time, but when our former manager decided to screw up our play off chances by negotiating a move away from the club, he was asking for trouble, and with the BR fans, when we're feeling hard done by and treated badly, having you come on here asking which players/staff we think might like to leave for the bright lights of Bristol, then don't be suprised when you're told to eff off.
And please, please, please stop telling us your a BRFC fan in peace in the first line of most posts. If you make a decent point, in a respectful manner, then you will be responded to in a like for like post.

My opinion, for what its worth.
I don't really get involved in the "banter". I mainly come on here to read about the goings on (or lack of!) at our club.
It is getting very boring, and frustrating to have almost every thread hijacked by fans of other clubs.
I am not saying that our fans are totally blameless, but TUFC fans posting on a TUFC forum are to be expected.
I have moved countless threads to the banter board, simply because that is what that thread has turned into. I appreciate I am not a "manager", and if I am speaking out of turn then I am sure one of either Dave, Louis or Chris will tell me, but I ask if you want to bang on about whose club is better etc etc, please do it on the banter board!!
Thanks,
Scott

To be honest i've had enough of posting and reading speculation in the absence of a new manager appointment. It's all a bit banal now. Someone ring me when he is appointed and i'll have something worthwhile to post for a change!!

Basically if you are a gashead and want to come on here and be an arsehole then do one children, if you are a genuine fan then you are most welcome.

Perfect response.
We do want to welcome fans onto our Forum, whatever team they support. Allowing fans of other clubs to share their opinions is very worthwhile in most cases and any odd thread that descends into chaos is simply moved to the Banter Board.
In the case of the Rovers fans they've not been any better or any worse than the rest of us so I don't think it's fair to single them out. I pm'd simonb and politely requested he kept his banterous threads to the Banter Board and he's stuck to that with no fuss so isn't a problem.
If Rovers fans want to contribute to threads on the Main Board then all we ask is that they stay sensible and let us interact in a cordial manner. It's naturally a tough time for us so it's hardly surprising that some of us are less than polite on occasion.
I'm as bad as anyone when it comes to arguing a point so all we ask is that we try to remain as civil as is possible.

When the "green man" appears, look right, then left, then right again. When all is clear, it's safe to cross (over to the other side called the banter board).
When the "red man" (big ugly fat b*****d dripping bling) appears, look out, a pm called a poisoned pen warning is on it's way, backed up by a slap called an A&E visit for those with deaf ears.
Then again, the Grammar School educated former nightclub diplomat, may hide a slap attack behind an eloquent reasoned request to behave.
