Really pleased with the SAAH signing and McPhee / Stevens aside we are slowly but surely beginning to assemble some useful players within our squad. Even if Zebs goes it doesn't really matter as he is replacable and the cash would be handy for the club anyway. Looking forward to seeing Saah play.
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

I feel this is a really good signing, and along with Olejnik makes a really good day in the transfer market for ML. IMO he's had a good week for bringing in players, Saah, Olejnik, Oastler and McPhee look very solid additions to our squad. Its shame about Zebs asking for a transfer, but he's not irreplaceable, and if we can get decent money for him, hope ML can use it wisely on a couple of attacking additions. I believe he's shown with Olejnik he's got some decent contacts so lets hope he can keep using these to add to our squad

Has he definitely signed then? That link still suggests 'set to sign'? We've been caught out before. Hope to see it finalised as by all accounts he's forged a decent career for himself in the lower Leagues. Dare i suggest he'll have attributes Branno lacked too? A touch of pace perhaps?

Reading through the previous posts, the majority view is we've signed a useful player.
Now he's played competitive League 2 games, what's the view now ?
Although there's a footballer in Brian Saah, is there a leader and ball winner as well?
My view is it's taking him time to adjust to League 2 from BSP, as a few of the squad needed time 2 seasons ago. Those who made the adjustments are still here. Those who didn't were moved on.
