google + ???

anyone tried this NEW 'facebook out yet? i do have it myself and believe it will take off...unlike others that google have tried and failed with.
its no longer invitation only so give it a go and let me know your thoughts!
there's even a 'sparks' feature that keeps all the Torquay united news in one page!

Yeah, I'm on it, have been for a week or so. It's pretty much of a muchness, tbh, although that may be because it suffers from the same issue that social networks always will; namely that it's only any good if you're friend are on it too.
The key thing is going to be the Hangouts - video conferencing etc - which is presumably why Facebook announced a partnership with Skype the other day.

I don't enjoy being pedantic, it's just who I am.
I'm currently whipping myself in retribution. I actually swore quite loudly in the office when I saw that. I don't think I've made that error for about 15 years. I was presumably distracted by the new 20 year old intern in my office. Yikes.
